Summer 2021 - Mighty Sprinters Running & Growth Mindset Program

Hi! We are so excited you are joining us for this amazing Running and Growth Mindset Program.

Not only is this program going to be a great way for your child to interact with other kids (in a safe environment following all COVID policies and procedures), but we are also going to teach research-based Growth Mindset(c) themes through the Power of Play!

 



4 Week Running Program Themes: 1) Goals and Future Thinking, 2) Brain Power, 3) Mistakes as Opportunities, and 4) Positive Self Talk.

Summer Practices are held on Wednesdays from 4pm -5pm and will begin the program.

Summer Races
are held on Sundays from 4pm-5pm. The race distance is based on age/grade of the runner ranging from a 50 yd dash - 1 1/2 mile course.

 

We are looking forward to meeting you and watching your child not only improve their running skills but also their MINDSET.  In addition, we look forward to assisting in Building Confidence in their self-talk and abilities that will carry with them throughout the program and beyond!
As a coach for practice, you will be leading one (01) of four rotating stations. The stations include A) Running Technique, B) Game, C) Yoga/Stretching, and D) Growth Mindset Story/Power Phrase. You do not need to be an EXPERT in any of these. We will provide you the curriculum, games, and supplies. You just bring your SMILE and ENERGY!
You will be assisting with the Finish Line. Sometimes runners cross at the same time, so we need to line them up accordingly to ensure times are recorded correctly.
Is your side hobby or main job putting together pictures and video into a short marketing video? Please volunteer as we would love to tap into this skill of yours.
Help guide the runners on the correct path as they follow their running route.
